工作許多年，積累小知識。

身為顯示行業(yè)的人，對于gamma，應該是爛熟于心！但是對于那些還沒(méi)有從事，或者即將從事顯示行業(yè)的人，卻不一定那么熟悉了！

不過(guò)我敢說(shuō)，就算有些人身為顯示行業(yè)中，也不一定知道gamma是什么。

那么gamma是什么呢？

聽(tīng)起來(lái)好高大上，gamma，伽馬？伽馬射線(xiàn)？哦哦，它是一種電磁波！

別胡思亂想了，我看你是物理學(xué)多了。

那么gamma這個(gè)玩意到底是什么呢？我就和大家嘮一嘮，這家伙到底是什么。

其實(shí)說(shuō)起gamma，需要從兩個(gè)角度去說(shuō)明，第一是人眼對亮度的分辨程度，第二是灰階。

人眼對亮度的分辨程度

每個(gè)人的眼睛對亮度的分辨都是有一些不同的，那么結構呢？

那，眼睛就是這樣的，這個(gè)沒(méi)有看出來(lái)什么不同??！你說(shuō)的很對。

人的眼睛構造都是一樣的，但是感覺(jué)細胞卻是很奇怪，每個(gè)人都會(huì )有一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)的差別，但是大眾的眼睛感覺(jué)也都差不多，除了一些色盲色弱的人。

什么感覺(jué)細胞呢？也就是說(shuō)對于明暗的識別程度，聽(tīng)起來(lái)還想有點(diǎn)費解，明暗的識別程度？這個(gè)是什么呢，也有人說(shuō)：明暗這個(gè)怎么定義呢，暗到什么程度，明到什么程度。

下面我就和大家說(shuō)一個(gè)標準nit，也就是亮度的單位，1nit=1cd/m2，如果你再說(shuō)cd/m2你都不知道是什么意思的話(huà)，請恕我罵人了，你可以回爐重造了。

實(shí)在真不懂，那就翻翻書(shū)。

亮度是有單位的，也就是nit，一般身為顯示行業(yè)的人，nit的定義都是知道的，也都是很熟悉很常見(jiàn)的。

那明暗的識別程度怎么說(shuō)呢？

咱們先假設一個(gè)場(chǎng)景：讓你去看一個(gè)發(fā)光的物體，這個(gè)物體的亮度是500nit，好亮啊，嗯嗯，確實(shí)好亮，但如果這個(gè)物體此時(shí)上升1nit，變成了501nit，然后逐漸變化，502nit，503nit，不變了，你看著(zhù)，沒(méi)什么變化嗎？

額，，，完全沒(méi)什么變化，沒(méi)看出來(lái)。

那給你三個(gè)物體，分別500nit，501nit，502nit，放到一塊對比，你去看他的亮暗程度，仍然沒(méi)有看出來(lái)有什么變化，是啊，這么小的亮度的變化根本看不出來(lái)啊，于是咱們下了個(gè)結論，亮度變化太小，低于3nit，根本看不出來(lái)。

那么咱在看一個(gè)場(chǎng)景：在弄一個(gè)亮的發(fā)光體，它的亮度1nit，逐漸變亮，變成2nit的時(shí)候，你就叫停了，因為什么，你發(fā)現了它的亮度變化。

??？才1nit的變化，就發(fā)現了？你不信，你可以去做個(gè)實(shí)驗。真理是經(jīng)得起實(shí)驗檢驗的，下面我們繼續說(shuō)。你仍可以拿出兩個(gè)發(fā)光體，分別1nit和2nit，對比一下，估計你看的會(huì )更明顯。

這個(gè)結論是不是把剛才的結論推翻了，3nit都看不到變化，這個(gè)1nit就看到了。哎呀，好像是推翻了哎，你是不是發(fā)現了什么？

如果你發(fā)現，我也就不說(shuō)你笨了，我也沒(méi)發(fā)現。

你想想，亮度變化1nit，能發(fā)現，亮度變化3nit，有沒(méi)有發(fā)現，這個(gè)意味著(zhù)什么？觀(guān)察亮度的變化是有條件的！

也就是說(shuō)，我們的眼睛在看暗的東西分別力比較強，在看比較明的東西時(shí)，分辨力變弱了。這個(gè)也就是我剛才說(shuō)的我們的眼睛的特點(diǎn)，它對明暗的分辨力不同。記住這個(gè)是重點(diǎn)，gamma就是因為有人眼對明暗的分辨能力來(lái)的，如果人眼對明暗的分辨程度是一樣的話(huà)，估計也就沒(méi)有g(shù)amma了。不過(guò)也可能有，但定義估計不是這個(gè)樣子了。

灰階

說(shuō)完了人眼睛的特性，那就說(shuō)一說(shuō)灰階，灰階是什么呢？那就得從顯示器說(shuō)起。也就是我們所說(shuō)的LCD的屏幕或者OLED屏幕，說(shuō)白了就是手機屏，電腦屏、電視屏幕。

顯示器也有這樣一個(gè)特性，它的亮度可不是連續的，雖然你看著(zhù)他是連續的，但實(shí)際上并不是這樣，只是它的亮度變化間隔很小而已，每一個(gè)變化都會(huì )有一個(gè)亮度和他對應，這個(gè)亮度，咱們也給他有一個(gè)定義，就是灰階?；译A是人為規定的。

灰階，顯示行業(yè)的也都清楚，目前我們的顯示屏一共有256個(gè)灰階，也就是所說(shuō)的0-255灰階，每一個(gè)灰階都對應一個(gè)亮度，也就是說(shuō)，在全亮是一定的情況下，每一個(gè)灰階都對應一個(gè)固定的亮度，而這個(gè)亮度卻是人為規定的，可以根據人的意愿隨意改動(dòng)，當然想要做出好的顯示屏幕，這個(gè)亮度可不能隨意規定，需要根據一個(gè)標準去規定，這個(gè)我們在下一節在講述。

這個(gè)亮度該怎么去規定呢，如果我們不根據gamma2.2去規定，可以隨意去規定，那么，這個(gè)對亮度在256灰階內的規定就叫做gamma。

聽(tīng)起來(lái)還是沒(méi)有明白啊，隨意規定就叫g(shù)amma？好難啊，完全沒(méi)懂啊。

如果，一個(gè)屏幕最亮的是256nit，那么我可以給它規定每一個(gè)灰階是1nit，也就是0灰階對應1nit，1灰階對應2nit，2灰階對應3nit......255灰階對應256nit。一一對應，這個(gè)是一種分配方式。

我也可以不這樣分配，我0灰階對應0.5nit，1灰階對應1nit，中間并不是線(xiàn)性對應，，也能把256個(gè)灰階和256nit完全對應完，這個(gè)又是一種分配方式。

當然我有很多種對應方式，可以說(shuō)這個(gè)把亮度分配到256種灰階中的分配方式有太多種的，我想怎么分都可以（不考慮人眼特性的話(huà)），那么這種分配方式，我們就叫做gamma。

這樣說(shuō)估計大家應該就懂了，目的就是讓大家知道什么是gamma。
