要解釋EMP的威力，我們需要先了解其殺傷原理；只有知道原理，才能有效的防護。既然能防護了，就不會(huì )出現失效問(wèn)題了。

首先，EMP全稱(chēng)Electro Magnetic Pulse，翻譯過(guò)來(lái)就是電磁脈沖。本質(zhì)來(lái)說(shuō)其實(shí)是一種電磁干擾源，這種干擾源具備猝發(fā)性、功率高、帶寬寬的特點(diǎn)。直要進(jìn)入到電子設備中，可以造成大量的能量耦合，對電路和元器件造成輕則干擾失效，重則燒毀燒穿等嚴重情況。

而一般制造EMP可以使用核爆，也可以使用其他人工方法制造。其中核彈制造的效果最佳，并且可以產(chǎn)生高空電磁脈沖，可在5ns之內造成相當寬泛的電磁脈沖。而人工制造的功率、頻寬都相對較窄。

知道了原理和范圍，剩下就是防護了?，F在主流電磁脈沖防護方法是分級防護，一般都是先進(jìn)行整體金屬包裹，也就是可以理解為接地良好的金屬屏蔽體包裹上整個(gè)目標；然后就是對單個(gè)分機柜或者裝備進(jìn)行有效的導電倒磁設備；最后就是在設計電路上進(jìn)行材料加固和冗余。

人員防護也可以采用類(lèi)似的設計，采用金屬織物做成防護網(wǎng)穿戴到人體上，也可以有效防護電磁脈沖。

海灣戰爭之后，全世界軍隊基本都對EMP有了一定認識，所以從軍用電腦、裝備
