在 iOS 的眾多內置 App 中，Podcast 應當算是資歷較淺的一個(gè)，比起 Safari 這樣的元老 App，在 2012 年之前，它一直都是以“音樂(lè )”App 的子功能形式存在，直到 2012 年 6 月，蘋(píng)果宣布發(fā)布獨立的 Podcast 客戶(hù)端，播客這才以獨立的身份站在用戶(hù)面前，并成為當年發(fā)布的 iOS 6 系統自帶應用。
