可靠性是DCS發(fā)展的生命，要保證DCS的高可靠性主要有三種措施：一是廣泛應用高可靠性的硬件設備和生產(chǎn)工藝；二是廣泛采用冗余技術(shù)；三是在軟件設計上廣泛實(shí)現系統的容錯技術(shù)、故障自診斷和自動(dòng)處理技術(shù)等。當今大多數集散控制系統的MTBF可達幾萬(wàn)甚至幾十萬(wàn)小時(shí)。
