hold uphold up表示舉起的時(shí)候，一般有兩種用法：\r

舉起身體的某一部分，hold up（=raise） your hand，hold up your head and tell yourself you will never give up.

用手舉起一個(gè)事物，多為比較輕小的物體，he held up the book so she could see the cover. he held up his gun to shoot. 因為hold本身不是一個(gè)大動(dòng)作，而主要是一個(gè)手的動(dòng)作，例如hold the cup for me 幫我拿著(zhù)杯子 He was holding his hat (in his hand).他手里拿著(zhù)帽子。所以即便加上up之后也一般不是大動(dòng)作，頂多就是把一個(gè)不重的東西舉過(guò)頭頂。再一個(gè)hold的本意是手持著(zhù)，所以hold up的目的也一般不是將其舉起來(lái)放到車(chē)上之類(lèi)，而只是將某物舉起來(lái)讓別人看/聞之類(lèi)的。
