2、amber為什么改名了？

Amber改名是因為在2018年，Ruby China社區成員發(fā)現了一個(gè)名為Amber的開(kāi)源項目，這個(gè)項目使用了Ruby編程語(yǔ)言，是一個(gè)Web框架。而原本我們所熟知的Amber也是一個(gè)編程語(yǔ)言和系統，并且已經(jīng)存在了30多年，它主要用于嵌入式系統和實(shí)時(shí)控制領(lǐng)域。

為了避免混淆，當時(shí)官方?jīng)Q定將Amber更名為T(mén)ideSDK。TideSDK是一個(gè)基于Web技術(shù)的桌面應用程序開(kāi)發(fā)平臺，可以幫助開(kāi)發(fā)者使用JavaScript、HTML、CSS等Web前端技術(shù)來(lái)開(kāi)發(fā)桌面應用程序。

之后，在2019年的時(shí)候，TideSDK又被改名為Photon，同時(shí)，官方也放棄了對TideSDK和Amber的任何商標權和版權。目前，Amber編程語(yǔ)言和系統的命名和發(fā)展正在由社區繼續推進(jìn)。
