基因檢測可以用于預測癌癥風(fēng)險，還可以用于協(xié)助治療，提示哪種治療方式更加有效。簡(jiǎn)而言之，基因檢測對于預防、治療腫瘤和癌癥均有較大作用。

先來(lái)說(shuō)說(shuō)基因檢測是啥？

生命的起始階段，每個(gè)人的老爸出個(gè)精子，老媽出個(gè)卵子，然后兩者結合，形成受精卵。受精卵是一個(gè)細胞，就像是一個(gè)微小的雞蛋，它的“蛋黃”里保存著(zhù)老爸和老媽給的“信息”，它們決定你以后是長(cháng)成男人還是女人，黑人、白人或是黃種人，長(cháng)得像鹿晗還是張曼玉，這些“信息”就是基因，然后受精卵開(kāi)始分裂，一個(gè)變兩個(gè)，兩個(gè)變四個(gè)，數量不斷增多，細胞們各司其職，讓你發(fā)育成現在的樣子，可以愛(ài)，可以恨，可以思考人生，還可以在屏幕前看這篇科普?；驒z測，就是通過(guò)測序的辦法發(fā)現這些“信息”的內容。

目前疾病的檢查分 5 個(gè)等級：組織器官水平、臨床前、細胞水平、蛋白質(zhì)水平、基因分子水平 ，而基因檢測是最早的預警。

基因檢測對于預防和治療的價(jià)值，有一個(gè)非常典型的例子，就是BRCA2突變。該基因原本是抑癌基因，顧名思義，就是抑制癌癥產(chǎn)生和發(fā)展的基因，發(fā)生突變后，可以增加乳腺癌、卵巢癌、胰腺癌和前列腺癌的發(fā)病風(fēng)險。根據2013年發(fā)布在《臨床醫生腫瘤雜志》（《A cancer journal for clinicians》，簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)《CA》）上的數據（原文標題《Recent Progress in Pancreatic Cancer 》），幾乎4%-10%的德系猶太人（Ashkenazi Jews）胰腺癌患者攜帶家族性BRCA2突變，而且這種突變的比例隨著(zhù)親戚中胰腺癌患者的數量呈正比，如果有不小于2個(gè)親戚也得了胰腺癌，那么德系猶太人胰腺癌患者的BRCA2突變比例是6%~12%，如果有不小于3個(gè)親戚得了胰腺癌，則德系猶太人胰腺癌患者的BRCA2突變比例是16%。

雖然目前臨床醫生不推薦基因檢測作為常規篩查手段，但對于如上述的高危人群，基因檢測不失為一種早期篩查的好方法。

幾年前的爆炸性新聞，好萊塢女星安吉麗娜朱莉，也是因為發(fā)現BRCA突變，乳腺癌的風(fēng)險遠遠超過(guò)常人，所以選擇預防性地切除乳房。

基因檢測不單單可以預測某些癌癥發(fā)生的風(fēng)險，還可以預測哪些治療更有效。研究發(fā)現，對于BRCA2突變的患者，使用烷化劑（如卡鉑）的治療效果比沒(méi)有BRCA2突變的相同癌癥、相同病情的患者好。
