IB（introducingbroker介紹經(jīng)紀商）指的是證券公司將投資者介紹給期貨公司，并為投資者開(kāi)展期貨交易提供一定的服務(wù)，期貨公司因此向證券公司支付傭金的制度。 　介紹經(jīng)紀商（IB）既可以是機構也可以是個(gè)人，但一般都以機構的形式存在。它可以開(kāi)發(fā)客戶(hù)或接受期貨期權指令，但不能接受客戶(hù)的資金，且必須通過(guò)FCM(期貨傭金商，類(lèi)似于期貨經(jīng)紀公司)進(jìn)行結算。IB又分為獨立執業(yè)的IB(IIB)和由FCM擔保的IB(GIB)。IIB必須維持最低的資本要求，并保存賬簿和交易記錄。GIB則與FCM簽訂擔保協(xié)議，借以免除對IB的資本和記錄的法定要求。而期貨經(jīng)紀公司在異地的分支機構、營(yíng)業(yè)網(wǎng)點(diǎn)則與GIB頗為相似。在FCM的業(yè)務(wù)結構中，許多IB的客戶(hù)量和交易量都遠比FCM直接開(kāi)發(fā)的要大，IB的引入極大地促進(jìn)了美國期貨業(yè)的發(fā)展。
