SUMT外點(diǎn)法(懲罰函數法)和內點(diǎn)法(障礙函數法),它們的共同優(yōu)點(diǎn)是:①方法簡(jiǎn)單,程序易于編制;②對目標函數和約束函數要求不高,適用范圍較廣。因此受到工程技術(shù)人員的歡迎。但也存在一些缺點(diǎn):①為了求解一-個(gè)約束優(yōu)化問(wèn)題,需要求解一系列的無(wú)約束優(yōu)化問(wèn)題,計算量大,而且參數Mk和rp的選取對方法的收斂速度影響比較大;②在迭代過(guò)程中,外點(diǎn)法中的參數Mk不斷增大,內點(diǎn)法中的參數re不斷減小,使得求解無(wú)約束極小問(wèn)題變得十分困難;③用外點(diǎn)法求得的近似解x(k)往往不是可行解,只能近似地滿(mǎn)足約束條件,在某些實(shí)際問(wèn)題中,這樣的結果是不能用的;而內點(diǎn)法中,要求初始點(diǎn)x(0)位于可行域的內部,有時(shí)這是困難的,而且內點(diǎn)法不能求解包含有等式約束的優(yōu)化問(wèn)題,這也是一個(gè)很大的限制。為了克服這最后一個(gè)缺點(diǎn),人們往往將內點(diǎn)法和外點(diǎn)法結合使用,即混合函數法。
前面介紹的兩種懲罰函數方法, 最主要的缺點(diǎn)是當懲罰因子 ρ → +∞ (或r → 0 ) 時(shí), 對應的罰函數的海森陣越來(lái)越病態(tài), 從而導致無(wú)約束優(yōu)化子問(wèn)題的求解 非常困難, 甚至難以進(jìn)行下去. 本節介紹的方法則可克服這個(gè)缺點(diǎn).
1969 年, Powell 和 Hestenes 分別獨立地將拉格朗日函數與懲罰函數有機地結合 起來(lái), 針對只含有等式約束的優(yōu)化問(wèn)題提出了增廣拉格朗日函數法, 又稱(chēng)乘子法。
增廣拉格朗日函數法可以不需要懲罰因子 σ 趨于無(wú)窮大, 只 需大于某一閾值, 即可把求解問(wèn)題 (4-27) 轉化為求解無(wú)約束優(yōu)化問(wèn)題 。
增廣拉格朗日(augmented lagrangian)具有能夠達到任意精度的性能,且魯棒性極強,是最適合求解非線(xiàn)性約束問(wèn)題的方法之一,它的缺點(diǎn)是在平衡迭代以外引入了額外的迭代,同時(shí)也增加了程序實(shí)現難度。
罰函數法和拉格朗日乘子法的區別
