reject 和 refuse 的區別

1. 從語(yǔ)氣上看：refuse 屬普通用詞；而 reject 則屬于正式用詞，多用于較正式的場(chǎng)合。

2. 從意思上看：refuse 表示“拒絕”，強調態(tài)度的肯定和堅決；而 reject 則強調擯棄、不采用或不使用。

注：若不嚴格區分，有時(shí)(如表示拒絕接受時(shí))兩者也可換用。如：

reject 和 refuse 的區別

refuse 1.拒絕某人的請求要求；

2.回絕推卻別人所提供給你的東西；

3.拒絕給別人所需之物。

reject 1.拒絕接收不予考慮（觀(guān)點(diǎn)提議... ...）;

2.不錄用，拒絕接納；

3.排斥排異（移植的器官）；

4.不夠關(guān)心，拋棄。例，when her husband left home she felt rejected and useless.丈夫離家后她覺(jué)得遭到了拋棄而且無(wú)能為力。

reject語(yǔ)氣更強一些，除了拒絕還有“排除摒棄拋棄”之意，而refuse語(yǔ)氣稍弱。
