這幾天看變形金剛中文版又激起了我的思緒，多年來(lái)對變形金剛中文版的感情又涌到心頭。

我國翻譯界老前輩嚴復先生，早就定下了翻譯工作的三項標準，就是眾所共知的信、達

雅。特別是"雅"最難做到，而由上海翻譯的兩部動(dòng)畫(huà)經(jīng)典 <<變形金剛>><<太空堡壘>>

則基本做到了這個(gè)標準，若論配音我覺(jué)得感情細膩的<<太空堡壘>>應在<<變形金剛>>之

上，而翻譯水準則應以<<變形金剛>>更佳，以下主要討論變形金剛的中文版翻譯。

-bot取自robot機器人

-con和-tron都說(shuō)明與電子(electron)類(lèi)有關(guān)

所以autobot譯為汽車(chē)人

deceptcon原意為詐騙者、欺詐者。譯為霸天虎絕對是神來(lái)之筆，即反映出狂派霸道的性

格又表明了他們的特征，在天上(開(kāi)始時(shí)主要是飛機)，兇悍如虎。

1)optimus prime有最優(yōu)長(cháng)官之意，但這樣叫難免被人誤解為到了日本警視廳。

megatron在電子學(xué)里是盤(pán)封管、塔形電子管之意，但英語(yǔ)里mega-前綴一般形容很大，超

過(guò)一百萬(wàn)的意思，總之是想說(shuō)威震天很強大吧！

如果直譯，對中國觀(guān)眾很可能感覺(jué)是不倫不類(lèi)。在變形金剛的命名上，上譯的翻譯人員

確實(shí)是下了一番功夫的。將之分別譯成擎天柱和威震天，從此這兩個(gè)名字

在80年代末少年兒童心中便扎下了根。從表面上看，一正一邪，勢同水火，針?shù)h相對，

突出了汽車(chē)人與霸天虎的對立及此二人本身的對手性質(zhì)。同樣效果的還有后來(lái)的補天士

和驚破天。

2)starscream星星叫，咆哮的星星?？催^(guò)英文原版的人應該會(huì )對里邊為紅蜘蛛配音的人

的嗓音有印象，這個(gè)聲音用咆哮的星星來(lái)形容確實(shí)挺形象。但中文版李丹青先生的聲音

可不是咆哮的星星，所以譯制導演選了一個(gè)好記且能反映特征色的名字“紅蜘蛛”。

3)以形象命名：

Inferno 地獄，有個(gè)游戲叫地獄火就是這個(gè)名字，根據形態(tài)譯為消防車(chē)

ravage英文原意蹂躪，譯為機器狗。

laser beak英文原意激光鳥(niǎo)嘴，譯為激光鳥(niǎo)

4)更多的是根據中國人的理解習慣來(lái)譯

aerial bot英文原意航空機器人，譯為飛行太保，即說(shuō)明是航空部隊，又用來(lái)表現他們

在空中的支配地位。

Protectobots保衛機器人，譯為機器衛兵。

constructcon香港直譯建造派太成人化，不如上海譯的挖地虎和工程虎即能表現人物個(gè)

性，又易于兒童記憶。

Combaticon戰斗金剛，譯為戰車(chē)隊說(shuō)明這是一支變形為軍用兵器的隊伍

Stunticon直譯為有絕技者，上譯譯為飛虎隊，意思是行動(dòng)如飛的地面部隊。

menasor如果直譯為脅迫者、威脅者簡(jiǎn)直是不知所云，而譯為飛天虎，說(shuō)明力量強如猛虎

又與飛虎隊的名稱(chēng)相應。

bruticus直譯為極殘忍者，譯為混天豹，混字表現了他莽撞好斗頭腦簡(jiǎn)單的個(gè)性，豹字

又能透出他力量的強悍！

devastator香港那邊直譯為破壞者、毀滅者，上譯譯為大力神，更貼切，特別是在開(kāi)始

三十幾集，大力神確實(shí)是力氣最大的金剛，直到大力金剛出現。

omega supreme反正直譯都是最后、最高、終極的意思，上譯大力金剛表現人物最突出特

點(diǎn)，而且與對手大力神相對應。

5)有些人名翻譯非常注重聽(tīng)覺(jué)美感，比如：

Skywarp直譯為天空扭曲，上譯譯為鬧翻天

Thundercracker直譯為雷暴者，上譯譯為驚天雷

Cyclonus直譯為旋風(fēng)，上譯譯為狂飆。

有時(shí)一字之差，就可以看出當時(shí)上海譯制工作者的專(zhuān)業(yè)水準和工作態(tài)度，比如defensor,

譯為守護者就不如守護神來(lái)得有震撼力！以上只是對變形金剛翻譯的一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)粗淺的回顧

但可看出當初上海翻譯工作者所花費的心思，而現如今引進(jìn)的動(dòng)畫(huà)譯制片恐怕很難再

被傾注如此的心血！

對我來(lái)說(shuō)，變形金剛就是一部很"雅"致的藝術(shù)品！
