tempting與charm的用法區別?
前者是形容詞,后者是名詞或動(dòng)詞,區別相當大,不用區處。但是,charm的現在分詞charming是形容詞,與temmting有可比之處:
1、tempting主要表達具有強烈的吸引力的,常譯作:誘人的,修飾對象主要是事物,如:Whatatemptingrepastonthelongtable.
2、charning主要表示讓人心動(dòng)、或心儀的,或令人被深深吸引住的,修飾對象主要是人物,當然亦可修飾事物,常譯作:嫵媚動(dòng)人的、精美絕倫的,令人高興的,如:Whatacharmingchickoverthere.把兩個(gè)形容詞放在同一個(gè)句子里比較一下:Thebookwithcharmingillustrationsisquitetemptingtochildren.
