什么是RNA剪輯?

在真核細胞中的核苷酸序列中間**入與氨基酸編碼無(wú)關(guān)的DNA間隔區段,使一個(gè)有功能的結構基因分隔成不連續的若干區段,將該間隔區段的DNA片斷稱(chēng)為斷裂基因(split gene),然而這種斷裂基因可隨同結構基因先轉錄初級轉錄物,形成前體mRNA,但在真核細胞中可通過(guò)切割和連接加工而除去由內含子轉錄成的無(wú)關(guān)轉錄物,便產(chǎn)生了由結構基因轉錄的mRNA,即形成了有功能的成熟mRNA.進(jìn)而合成蛋白質(zhì)多肽鏈,在原核細胞(大腸桿菌中)中無(wú)此類(lèi)切割加工功能。此種在mRNA切割加工過(guò)程中,其轉錄物被剪除掉的相應的DNA部分,叫做間隔序列(intervening sequence),或稱(chēng)內含子(intron),被保留下來(lái)的相應的DNA分子叫做編碼序列或表達子(exon),實(shí)際上就是有功能的結構基因DNA序列。而這種內含子的刪除和表達子的連接,形成最后的成熟mRNA過(guò)程,稱(chēng)為RNA剪輯(RNA splicing)。

怎樣區分內含子和外顯子?

內含子(Intron)和外顯子(Exon)是基因組DNA序列的兩個(gè)不同部分,其主要區別在于它們在編碼蛋白質(zhì)的過(guò)程中的不同作用。

**外顯子**
