串行接口，簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)：串口。是通訊接口。我從90年代用電腦，在臺灣人開(kāi)辦工廠(chǎng)時(shí)見(jiàn)過(guò)他們用串行數據線(xiàn)直連兩臺電腦互相拷貝文件（有軟件驅動(dòng)，當時(shí)還用DOS系統，那時(shí)候還沒(méi)有開(kāi)通網(wǎng)絡(luò )，電腦之間的數據拷貝還要靠軟盤(pán)，1片盤(pán)只能拷貝1.44M, 現在一首歌就2-3M，所以能兩臺電腦間直接通訊還是很方便的）。

除此之外，還真沒(méi)用過(guò)這個(gè)端口。

好像平面印刷的什么設備是用這個(gè)端口連接電腦，其他就沒(méi)有見(jiàn)過(guò)了。
