著(zhù)作一覽—辜鴻銘(10)1．PapersfromaViceroy'sYamen:AChinesePleafortheCauseofGoodGovernmentandTrueCivilization.封面上有趙鳳昌親筆手書(shū)的中文書(shū)名《尊王篇》。該書(shū)于1901年在上海出版，乃是辜鴻銘自和義和團運動(dòng)以來(lái)，陸陸續續發(fā)表于《日本郵報》等報刊上的系列英文政論文章結集而成的合集。該書(shū)出版后，歐洲人爭相購買(mǎi)傳閱，當時(shí)在國際上產(chǎn)生了很大的影響?！肚迨犯濉繁緜髦姓f(shuō)：“辜氏以英文撰《尊王篇》，申大義，列強知中華以禮教立國，終不可侮，和議乃就?！?/p>

4．TheSpiritoftheChinesePeople（《中國人的精神》，又名《春秋大義》），這是辜鴻銘向西方宣傳中國傳統文化的代表作。該書(shū)1915年在北京首次出版，并很快由德國學(xué)者奧斯卡·A·H·施密茨（Oscar.A.H.Schmitz）譯成德文，一時(shí)轟動(dòng)西方。書(shū)中力闡中華民族的精神和中國文明的價(jià)值，鼓吹中國文化救西論。全書(shū)分為緒言、導論、正文和附錄四個(gè)部分。

此外，辜鴻銘還常在英文報刊上發(fā)表文章，《字林西報》（又名《華北日報》，NorthChinaDailyNews）、《日本郵報》（JapanWeeklyMail）、《北京日報》（BeijingDailyNews）、《密勒氏遠東評論》（Millard'sReviewoftheFarEast）、《華北正報》（NorthChinaStandard）、《泰晤士報》（TheTimes）等英文報刊都是他批判西方，闡揚“周孔之道”的陣地。

辜鴻銘的文章發(fā)表之后，西方人既驚訝又非常佩服，德國人和日本人尤其如此，為了讓更多的國人了解這位東方圣哲的思想和學(xué)說(shuō)，他們把辜鴻銘的文章分別譯成德文和日文。1920年，在德國萊比錫出版了由奈爾遜教授翻譯的辜鴻銘論文集VoxClamantis（《吶喊》，又名《哀訴之音》）。德國漢學(xué)家衛禮賢（RichardWilhelm）則編譯了辜鴻銘文集《中國對于歐洲思想之反抗：批判論文集》，該書(shū)主體為《中國牛津運動(dòng)》。辜鴻銘在日本講演的論文由日本大東文化協(xié)會(huì )集結成《辜鴻銘講演集》于1925年在日本刊行。1941年日本人薩摩雄次在日本編譯出版了《辜鴻銘論集》，主要篇目是從《辜鴻銘講演集》和《中國人的精神》中選譯出來(lái)的。

蒙巴頓伯爵是否真如**《總督之屋》中所說(shuō)只是英國推行“印巴分治”方案的替罪羊？

不得不說(shuō)，《總督之屋》這**有美化蒙巴頓的傾向。

要了解這部**所說(shuō)的主題，還是應該回到歷史看起。二戰之后，一直反對印度獨立的丘吉爾被選下了臺，工黨艾德禮政府上位，其對待印度的政策可以用一句話(huà)來(lái)概括“以最快的速度甩掉這個(gè)燙手山芋”。當時(shí)艾德禮已經(jīng)出臺了具體的時(shí)間表，他在英國下院宣布“最遲不超過(guò)1948年6月就把政權轉交給印度人”。

蒙巴頓就是在這種大背景下來(lái)到印度的，他也很清楚自己的使命，來(lái)印度就是為了“甩鍋”，“盡早移交政權”。但有一點(diǎn)對的是，蒙巴頓來(lái)到印度后才發(fā)現，形勢遠比在倫敦的英國人想得嚴重得多，印度教徒與穆斯林對立之深，用蒙巴頓自己的話(huà)形容是“如果我不迅速采取行動(dòng)，內戰即將在我任職期間爆發(fā)”。

認識到這一點(diǎn)之后，蒙巴頓不再堅持印度的統一，而是轉而說(shuō)服國大黨接受分治，之后提出的方案就是我們熟知的“蒙巴頓方案”，蒙巴頓本人在事前還專(zhuān)門(mén)返回倫敦向英王和英內閣報告，受到了英王和內閣的嘉許。所以，個(gè)人認為，不存在說(shuō)蒙巴頓當了英國推印巴分治的替罪羊一說(shuō)，蒙巴頓本人就是分治方案的最前沿締造者，也是英國政府“盡快甩開(kāi)印度這一包袱”的踐行者。

另外，要補充一點(diǎn)的是，這部**存在明顯的價(jià)值取向，神馬“獨立、自由”之類(lèi)的，現實(shí)的政治博弈要比這個(gè)復雜得多，蒙巴頓是英王喬治六世的表兄弟，是大英帝國傳統集團的杰出代表，**故意把他塑造得悲情了點(diǎn)，理想主義了點(diǎn)，以此來(lái)取得更好的效果，也更加政治正確而已。
