什么是IPA啤酒

IPA的起源：IPA源于英國淡色艾爾啤酒，English Pale Ale 。IPA誕生于1790年，發(fā)明這種類(lèi)型啤酒的初衷是東印度公司想將英國啤酒出口到遙遠的英屬殖民地。這種啤酒很快就在Bruton-on-Trent大規模釀造，該地區的釀造用水源自于極深的地下蓄水層，這種水富含石膏，能更有效的凸顯酒花的苦味，釀造出來(lái)的啤酒更能很快緩解口渴的感覺(jué)。桶裝IPA，因為有較高的酒精度和酒花苦味進(jìn)行防腐，可以裝船安全地進(jìn)行六個(gè)星期的旅行，期間會(huì )兩次越過(guò)赤道才能到達遙遠的東方。

二、IPA的衰落：IPA的原麥汁濃度在17.5°P甚至更高，發(fā)酵后大約是3.75°P，產(chǎn)生7%v/v的酒精度。到了20世紀，隨著(zhù)輪船的興起和蘇伊士運河、巴拿馬運河的開(kāi)通，東西方航線(xiàn)的距離變得越來(lái)越短，輪船在兩地之間的往返也逐步日程化、規律化，在金**的拉格啤酒和它的仿制品征服了世界所有的啤酒市場(chǎng)后，IPA幾乎已經(jīng)被世界遺忘。
