放眼英國汽車(chē)工業(yè)，有一個(gè)名字影響深遠，注定被載入史冊，它就是大名鼎鼎的“羅孚汽車(chē)”。

羅孚汽車(chē)的英文原名為Rover，意為“流浪者”。它的LOGO取自維京戰船與船帆的意象?；蛟S正是源自名字的詛咒，Rover的維京戰船終其一生都在沉浮流浪。

它創(chuàng )立于19世紀末期，見(jiàn)證了汽車(chē)行業(yè)從無(wú)到有，由弱至強的過(guò)程。在這一百多年的歷程中，羅孚汽車(chē)經(jīng)歷過(guò)比肩勞斯萊斯的輝煌，也嘗盡了顛沛流離的苦難，直至最后分崩離析。

而它，只是英國汽車(chē)衰落史的一個(gè)縮影。

從自行車(chē)到女王座駕

1877年，羅孚公司成立，致力于自行車(chē)的研發(fā)制造。那時(shí)候的自行車(chē)的外觀(guān)千奇百怪，最主流的還是這種前輪大、后輪小的造型，在舒適性和安全性上都有所欠缺。

1958年發(fā)布的P5是該系列的巔峰之作，自帶雍容華貴的貴族感。改款后的P5B甚至一度成為伊麗莎白女王與撒切爾夫人的座駕，一時(shí)風(fēng)光無(wú)兩。

但誰(shuí)能想到，羅孚的汽車(chē)王座還沒(méi)有捂熱，就被命運驅趕著(zhù)開(kāi)始了流浪生涯。

百年羅孚?注定漂泊

二戰之后，英國為增強汽車(chē)行業(yè)的國際競爭力，將羅孚、MG、捷豹等知名汽車(chē)品牌一同并入利蘭汽車(chē)集團，企圖復刻一個(gè)汽車(chē)界的“日不落帝國”。

但這樣的做法適得其反，利蘭汽車(chē)集團的絕大多數品牌，包括彼時(shí)羅孚旗下的MINI、Land Rover（路虎）等品牌都被逐漸瓦解，數易其主。

在經(jīng)歷了集團合并、收編國有、再度獨立后，羅孚汽車(chē)已經(jīng)從尊貴的女王座駕跌落成了平民品牌，泯然眾人矣。

1994年，也就是第一臺羅孚汽車(chē)——Rover 8誕生90年之際，羅孚汽車(chē)被賣(mài)給了寶馬集團，開(kāi)始了異鄉的流浪之旅。

但羅孚與寶馬的蜜月也不如意，六年中連續虧損，終于讓寶馬失去了耐心。終于在2000年，寶馬集團將其分解為三部分：把羅孚送還英國政府，把路虎賣(mài)給了美國福特，只留下了MINI品牌。至今，MINI仍在寶馬集團麾下。

回到英國的羅孚與另一個(gè)百年品牌MG合并為MG-Rover汽車(chē)公司。但此時(shí)大勢已去，強強聯(lián)手也未能挽救敗局。2005年，MG-Rover汽車(chē)公司破產(chǎn)，羅孚品牌被轉手給福特；生產(chǎn)線(xiàn)和MG品牌被南京汽車(chē)買(mǎi)下，成為國內汽車(chē)品牌收購國外汽車(chē)品牌的首例。

2007年，南京汽車(chē)集團被上汽集團全面收購，羅孚的生產(chǎn)線(xiàn)和MG的名牌分別演變?yōu)榱松掀麡s威和上汽名爵。這對難兄難弟幾經(jīng)輾轉，最終還是在中國安了家。

再說(shuō)福特，財大氣粗的福特在2008年將捷豹和路虎轉讓給了印度塔塔集團，而紅極一時(shí)的羅孚品牌幾乎相當于打包附送，這引起了當時(shí)車(chē)圈的極大震動(dòng)。至此，羅孚汽車(chē)終于分崩離析。

流浪是英國品牌的宿命嗎

前文說(shuō)過(guò)，羅孚品牌只是英國汽車(chē)衰落史的一個(gè)縮影，與羅孚同病相憐的不止是捷豹。

縱觀(guān)英國的知名品牌，阿斯頓·馬丁先后易主福特和Prodrive；賓利和勞斯萊斯分別被收入大眾與寶馬麾下；沃克斯豪爾現在則是法國PSA的子公司；路特斯和本土出租車(chē)業(yè)務(wù)則被中國吉利汽車(chē)集團收購...

誠然，品牌間的吞并是經(jīng)濟全球化帶來(lái)的連鎖反應。這些英國品牌是名副其實(shí)的汽車(chē)界的“霧都孤兒”，他們見(jiàn)證了大英帝國汽車(chē)工業(yè)的爆發(fā)與衰退，最終被卷進(jìn)大西洋的洪流中，奔向世界各地，匯入歷史的滾滾浪潮。
