Mew的專(zhuān)輯介紹

首張專(zhuān)輯《A Triumph For Man》由美國獨立搖滾樂(lè )團Swirlies的主腦Damon Tutunjian錄制，1997年4月于丹麥唱片廠(chǎng)牌Exlibris Musik限量發(fā)行2000張，由于數量稀少，因此在eBay拍賣(mài)網(wǎng)站上的價(jià)格高達7000至10000元臺幣。此專(zhuān)輯已于2006年9月18日由丹麥唱片廠(chǎng)牌A:larm Music重新發(fā)行為雙CD版。

原專(zhuān)輯曲目共14首，2006年重新發(fā)行的版本則增加一張收錄9首Demo曲目的CD。封面圖案由Jonas Bjerre繪制。

由于發(fā)行時(shí)間與水叮當樂(lè )團的《Aquarium》相近，在當時(shí)舞曲風(fēng)勝行的樂(lè )壇中并沒(méi)有受到太大的注目。

《Half The World Is Watching Me》

由于結束與原本唱片廠(chǎng)牌Exlibris Musik的合約，《Half The World Is Watching Me》于2000年由自創(chuàng )的廠(chǎng)牌Evil Office于唱片公司Playground下發(fā)行約5000張，此專(zhuān)輯目前尚無(wú)重新發(fā)行之打算，因此在eBay拍賣(mài)網(wǎng)站上仍有4000至7000元的價(jià)值。

專(zhuān)輯共發(fā)行為三種版本，共8首曲目，并有以紫色貼紙貼于CD內環(huán)的隱藏曲目《Ending》。收錄原本的8首曲目，并加收錄《She Came Home For Christmas》及《I Should Have Been A Tsin-Tsi (For You)》二曲。因第一版的隱藏曲造成多數機器不能播放，而只收錄原本的8首曲目。其中《Her Voice Is Beyond Her Years》是與瑞典女歌手Stina Nordenstam合唱，《Symmetry》則是與當年14歲的美國女孩Becky Jarrett合唱。

17. Ending 《陌生人》于2003年發(fā)行，為海鷗樂(lè )團加入Sony/Epic唱片公司的第一張國際發(fā)行唱片，主要以前張專(zhuān)輯《Half The World Is Watching Me》的作品重新編曲錄制，另有4首全新曲。

‘Frengers’取自朋友（friend）及陌生人（stranger）的合字，并加上副標題‘not quite a friend but not quite a stranger’來(lái)表明“不算是朋友但也不完全是陌生人”的意義。而‘Frengers’這個(gè)名字事實(shí)上誕生于Jonas Bjerre于十多歲時(shí)所拍攝的第一部短片名稱(chēng)。另外‘Frenger’也成為樂(lè )團歌迷的代名詞。

《156》的音樂(lè )錄像帶由美國漫畫(huà)家Ron Regé Jr.繪制，他目前亦是Swirlies的團員之一。團員曾在訪(fǎng)問(wèn)中談到156的意義，但由于未發(fā)表因此目前仍無(wú)法知道正確的意思，所以又被稱(chēng)為“Mew's mystery”。

在第四次發(fā)行的《She Came Home For Christmas》DVD單曲**別收錄了自制的Flash游戲“Frengers Game”。

日本地區在2003年11月12日另外發(fā)行了限量的圣誕節CD+DVD專(zhuān)輯，DVD特別收錄"Am I Wry？No"、"Symmetry"、"Behind The Drapes"、"Eight Flew Over, One Was Destroyed"、"King Christian"、"I Should Have Been A Tsin-Tsi For You"、"Mica"、"Comforting Sounds"的背景動(dòng)畫(huà)影片，短片"The Pestilence"，以及"Comforting Sounds"和"156"的音樂(lè )錄像帶，并外加一個(gè)紅底、繪有圣誕帽Mew Angel的紙殼。

《Comforting Sounds》可說(shuō)是海鷗樂(lè )團最知名的歌曲之一，此曲曾被臺灣行動(dòng)電信公司臺灣大哥大重新編曲做為其**“三網(wǎng)一家親”的主題曲，但在尋問(wèn)出處時(shí)卻得到“這是**公司自行剪接編曲，所以不是出自哪張專(zhuān)輯的作品”的回復，因此是否有向樂(lè )團購買(mǎi)版權仍然未知。

《And The Glass Handed Kites》

《透視騙子》于2005年9月底于歐洲及亞洲地區發(fā)行，整張專(zhuān)輯由不間斷的14首曲目組成，是一張屬于前衛搖滾的概念式專(zhuān)輯。其中《Why Are You Looking Grave？》及《An Envoy To The Open Fields》二曲與Dinosaur Jr.的主唱J. Mascis合唱，其低沉沙啞的嗓音與主唱Jonas Bjerre的高亢音色行成極大的對比。

主唱Jonas Bjerre并拍攝了一只以鼓手Silas Graae為主角的短片，作為《Apocalypso》的音樂(lè )錄像帶。此張專(zhuān)輯發(fā)行的一系列單曲設計亦與專(zhuān)輯設計有連貫性，其中《The Zookeeper's Boy》CD與黑膠的內封套是由鼓手Silas Graae所繪，預購唱片所贈的CD紙套則由主唱Jonas Bjerre設計。

海鷗樂(lè )團在2006年以《And The Glass Handed Kites》做為前進(jìn)美國市場(chǎng)的第一張專(zhuān)輯，并在美國進(jìn)行了兩次巡回演出，專(zhuān)輯評價(jià)在各大音樂(lè )站都有不錯的成績(jì)。
