Person是個(gè)體名詞泛指man,woman,child中的任何一個(gè)。而people作人講時(shí)是集合名詞，表示兩個(gè)人以上時(shí)復數概念可用people

person與people有什么區別？

一、指定的對象不同

person通常指特定的＂某個(gè)人＂，具有獨立指定性；它泛指man，woman或child中的任何一個(gè)，其復數形式是persons，但人們習慣用 people代替persons。

people通常指＂某群人＂，＂某個(gè)有相似特征的人的團體＂，甚至＂某個(gè)民族＂，指定的對象范圍更大，而且多于一個(gè)人。

二、一個(gè)人常譯作a person，而不用people。

而需要說(shuō)明一個(gè)人的性別時(shí)，要用a man 或 a woman來(lái)表示。
