94年的major debut開(kāi)始兩年后的96年，7月所推出的single「風(fēng)に消えなぃで」在Oricon流行榜上初登場(chǎng)成為第4位，同年10月發(fā)售的「flower」在榜上最高位置第5，而十一月的「Lies & Truth」一登場(chǎng)亦占據榜上第6位；歌曲能夠登上流興辦10位以?xún)?，除了證明歌曲被接受和有一定銷(xiāo)量以外，樂(lè )隊亦漸露頭角開(kāi)始廣泛被受fans和傳媒等關(guān)注而人氣上升。大碟「True」在12月推出初登場(chǎng)便已穩占Oricon大碟榜內第二名，發(fā)售后第六周（97年1月27日）再榜內亦再次攀升上至第1位，寫(xiě)下了連續9星期Best 10d的記錄，而銷(xiāo)量更超過(guò)百萬(wàn)張。自97年10月再復活以來(lái)所發(fā)售的single亦能一一打入Oricon流行榜的10位以?xún)取?/p>

彩虹初現

于91年在大阪結成的L'Arc~en~Ciel直至94年他們才擁有首張的Major Debut Album「Tierra」，在這段時(shí)間內他們不斷積極參與各方面的音樂(lè )活動(dòng)，例如在大阪或甚至上京（東京）舉行live的演出，并收錄有Live Video，CD Single，亦參與Omnibus CD「GIMMICK」的收錄；在93年4月他們發(fā)表了第一張大碟「DUNE」，自此以后便是忙于各個(gè)地方live的巡回演出，雖然都只是屬于小型的演唱性質(zhì)，但他們的知名度卻在band sound中占了一席位。 94年發(fā)行了首張的Major Debut Album「Tierra」；而首張Single「Blurry eyes」亦于同年10月21日發(fā)售，歌曲被用作日本電視臺卡通片「D.N.A.2」的主題歌。同樣，第二張Single「Vivid Colours」也是被日本電視臺用作「ぐるぐる99」的歌曲，同碟的C/S「Brilliant Years」則用作「しんドラ」的ending song。

至于第三張Single「夏の憂(yōu)郁」就被TBS的「M-Navi」用作結尾主題歌。雖然初出道時(shí)的歌曲總是被選作電視歌，大抵以為可以經(jīng)常在電視上播出，但其實(shí)那些節目都只是屬于次收視的二、三線(xiàn)節目，收視也只屬一般，而且歌曲再電視上on-air的時(shí)間都很短，所以并沒(méi)有收到幫助宣傳的效果。然而他們又沒(méi)有突出的化妝或是極端或是華麗的服飾打扮，這樣也實(shí)在是難以叫觀(guān)眾們留有印象。 雖然L'Arc~en~Ciel的歌曲愛(ài)被電視臺揀選作節目歌，但那時(shí)候在電視機上亮相的就只有一次，94年hyde所參與的**「AXIA」；電視臺的節目或是什么綜合性節目等他們卻完全沒(méi)有參演過(guò)；至于受歡迎的音樂(lè )節目朝日電視的「Musical Station」初出演也是在「Tierra」推出后的第二年；而另一受歡迎的音樂(lè )節目富士電視的「HEY! HEY! HEY!」首次出現竟然是在去年98年的3月。

彩虹的形成

要組成一隊professional band可說(shuō)是tetsu的志向，自從高中畢業(yè)以后，他便一直當part-time工作，一邊到live house去物色可以一起夾band志同道合的成員，而最初找來(lái)的就是談的投緣的hyde。 90年夏天剛畢業(yè)于大阪的一間design專(zhuān)門(mén)學(xué)校的hyde，平時(shí)也是一邊當兼職一邊夾band唱歌，而當時(shí)與高中同學(xué)一起所組成的樂(lè )隊名稱(chēng)是JERSAREMS ROD。 那時(shí)候也正是tetsu在物色成員一起共組新樂(lè )隊，在live house認識的hyde正好是他要找理想合適人選，tetsu還不斷三番四次的向他邀請一起組band，但都遭hyde因為顧及其他成員而婉拒了，不過(guò)tetsu并沒(méi)有因此而放棄，還多次在**中游說(shuō)，誠意邀請hyde嘗試一起夾band試音等。另一方面，由高中時(shí)代已開(kāi)始組成的JERSAREMS ROD亦因為隊友之間就升學(xué)、前途問(wèn)題開(kāi)始有了動(dòng)搖；由最初大家夢(mèng)想熱衷成為職業(yè)樂(lè )隊的志愿但也因為前途、就職、繼續升學(xué)等出現了分歧，而最大的問(wèn)題就是他們也不能向家長(cháng)保證夾band能夠可以賺錢(qián)養家活口，就連平日租用band房作練習和購買(mǎi)樂(lè )器等也要花上一大筆金錢(qián)；不要說(shuō)是正職，就連當part-time工作也因為live演出前的rehearsal要經(jīng)常請假，何況是可以接受他們夸張的發(fā)型和服飾的工作也是不容易找到，……所以在還未正式成為專(zhuān)業(yè)樂(lè )隊便放棄的人多的是，而JERSAREMS ROD也是因為這些原因而最后導致解散收場(chǎng)。

彩虹的努力

于1991年結成的L'Arc~en~Ciel，最初是由tetsu, hyde, hiro, pero所組成，他們四個(gè)人走在一起夾band都是有著(zhù)共同的目標——要成為一隊出色的professional band。而live house的表演就象是成名的踏腳石，所以每一隊在live house中出演的band都會(huì )很珍惜和努力地去施展渾身解數，以求增加更多fans。但若要在live house中演出，audition用的音源聲帶當然是不可缺少的，樂(lè )隊們一般都會(huì )預先把自己的歌曲輯錄成demo tape，而L'Arc~的收盒demo tape便收錄有「I'm in Pain」和「Nostalgia」以及其它6、7首歌等輯錄在聲帶內，同時(shí)間他們還忙于拍攝宣傳用的相片和印制宣傳單張等，作曲寫(xiě)詞創(chuàng )作新歌當然是不可以停下來(lái)。

以tetsu和hyde為首的L'Arc~在結成后的同年5月30日，聯(lián)同和其他樂(lè )隊在大阪難波舉行了他們首次live的演出。當日到場(chǎng)來(lái)欣賞band sound的fans只有200多名，雖然人數不多，但對于當日出場(chǎng)的L'Arc~來(lái)說(shuō)已經(jīng)是一個(gè)很難忘的回憶。演唱的歌曲都是首次披露，所以fans可能并沒(méi)有聽(tīng)過(guò)，而且hyde亦不善于MC，亦沒(méi)有故意去營(yíng)造有趣生面的氣氛，他們都就只顧認真的去演繹。8首歌40分鐘的時(shí)間，這一刻正好讓他們的歌曲充斥著(zhù)整個(gè)場(chǎng)內。

tetsu笑言充滿(mǎn)自信，他相信這個(gè)演唱會(huì )正好是他們踏出成功的第一步。他察覺(jué)到平時(shí)或是在練習時(shí)笑臉迎人哈哈笑的hyde一踏上舞臺便變得很認真，一份很進(jìn)取很努力的誠意使他更加相信L'Arc~他朝一定可以會(huì )被更多人接受和認同。

自出道以來(lái)L'Arc~一直都是以我行我素的姿態(tài)出現，從他們的創(chuàng )作的歌曲中便可以感受得到他們那份音樂(lè )才華，而獨有的性格、不愛(ài)隨波逐流，都是他們更其它樂(lè )隊的不同之處。他們有自己的歌唱路線(xiàn)和自我風(fēng)格，他們的歌曲叫大家留意的就是每首歌在創(chuàng )作和編排上，均有不同的音調和廣闊的音域，歌詞中意思更是層出不窮，有很多新鮮的構思意念。 不過(guò)要再三澄清的就是他們不是藝能人，不愛(ài)賣(mài)弄花巧，只做自己喜歡的音樂(lè )。他們是一隊愛(ài)好玩音樂(lè )的的樂(lè )隊而已，要求的只是希望能被大家認同他們所創(chuàng )作的音樂(lè )。至于私人生活方面，他們更是低調而且保密。對于傳媒，他們抱著(zhù)高度的警覺(jué)性來(lái)避免記者們來(lái)作一些無(wú)畏的報導或胡亂揣測，務(wù)求令樂(lè )隊保持著(zhù)一點(diǎn)神秘感以及留有一點(diǎn)個(gè)人的私隱，所以有關(guān)L'Arc~的事情，每每只能透過(guò)訪(fǎng)問(wèn)及報導才可以知道，而話(huà)題似乎都只是局限于有關(guān)音樂(lè )上的問(wèn)答和歌曲的宣傳，至于他們真正的私人生活和出道以前的事情都很少提及
