網(wǎng)格平臺門(mén)戶(hù)（Portal）主要內容分為以下幾方面。

（1）網(wǎng)格用戶(hù)管理系統

空間信息服務(wù)的用戶(hù)類(lèi)型多樣，并且應用模式紛繁復雜，因而它們也是空間信息網(wǎng)格管理中心的主要管理對象。研究針對用戶(hù)的具體分類(lèi)策略、權限配置策略以及管理策略，設計實(shí)現網(wǎng)格用戶(hù)管理系統。該管理系統應當具備如下基本子系統和功能：

1）用戶(hù)注冊：提供個(gè)人賬戶(hù)信息、個(gè)人基本信息、用戶(hù)類(lèi)別信息以及付費相關(guān)信息等的注冊和審核功能。

2）用戶(hù)身份和權限驗證：如果用戶(hù)僅僅訪(fǎng)問(wèn)公有服務(wù)信息，則不需要進(jìn)行身份驗證。當用戶(hù)希望訪(fǎng)問(wèn)受限服務(wù)信息時(shí)，則需要進(jìn)行身份驗證。

站點(diǎn)的功能分為以下幾個(gè)方面：網(wǎng)格元數據、結點(diǎn)元數據、新聞瀏覽、網(wǎng)格結點(diǎn)連接分布、三維地球地質(zhì)圖、柵格流地質(zhì)圖、地質(zhì)礦產(chǎn)一張圖、全國地質(zhì)工作程度圖、數據資源目錄服務(wù)、元數據服務(wù)、本體檢索、網(wǎng)格資源潛力評價(jià)服務(wù)、結點(diǎn)監控、GDB大型數據庫、十大數據庫、礦產(chǎn)遠景調查數據庫、結點(diǎn)自治數據庫、信息瀏覽以及管理中心。為大眾提供新聞、網(wǎng)格和結點(diǎn)元數據的信息，用戶(hù)登錄后才能使用數據服務(wù)、元數據服務(wù)等內容，管理中心只針對具有管理員權限的用戶(hù)有效。

（二）信息管理

1.新聞信息管理

包括對信息類(lèi)別的管理、信息維護的管理、信息評論的管理、信息發(fā)布狀態(tài)的管理、權限的管理。

信息類(lèi)別的管理主要指具有信息類(lèi)別管理權限的管理員可進(jìn)行類(lèi)別的增加、修改和刪除以及同級類(lèi)別排序；信息維護的管理主要指具有信息維護權限的管理員可進(jìn)行信息的增加、修改和刪除以及特殊標志設置等操作。

信息評論的管理主要指具有發(fā)布管理權限的管理員可進(jìn)行信息的發(fā)布狀態(tài)管理；信息發(fā)布狀態(tài)的管理主要指具有發(fā)布管理權限的管理員可進(jìn)行信息的發(fā)布狀態(tài)管理。

權限的分配指對具有信息發(fā)布權限的管理員分配具體能操作的項目。

2.柵格流信息管理

2）在“三維地球地質(zhì)圖”中，提供了三維地球以逼真的視角對地質(zhì)圖進(jìn)行立體展示的服務(wù)，可對區域內各種比例尺的地質(zhì)圖進(jìn)行瀏覽。

3）在“地質(zhì)調查北斗通信**服務(wù)”中，通過(guò)北斗通信**技術(shù)和北斗中央指揮機的連接，可直接對野外地質(zhì)人員在無(wú)人煙、無(wú)手機通訊信號地區，實(shí)時(shí)進(jìn)行野外地質(zhì)調查工作、管理和安全保障與監管服務(wù)，并實(shí)時(shí)提供野外地質(zhì)人員的位置，工作路線(xiàn)軌跡及任一時(shí)刻的通訊信息。

2.Portal有內部安全機制，可以在Portal上面定制角色、組及用戶(hù)，可以指定哪些資源可以被哪些用戶(hù)（組、角色）訪(fǎng)問(wèn)，對于那些不符合安全條件的用戶(hù)登錄，則看不到相關(guān)的資源。

3.Portal允許最終客戶(hù)自己利用已經(jīng)開(kāi)發(fā)好的資源（portlet或者網(wǎng)頁(yè)）按照自己的喜好定制自己的首頁(yè)或者網(wǎng)站。提升了網(wǎng)站的可維護性。
