人體工程學(xué)及其設計都要“以人為中心”的原因：　　為了克服軟件產(chǎn)品中的拙劣設計而發(fā)展起來(lái)的。通過(guò)強調那些將要使用軟件的人們的需求和能力，軟件產(chǎn)品的可用性和可理解性確實(shí)得到了提高?！　∪梭w工程學(xué)(Human Engineering)，也稱(chēng)人類(lèi)工程學(xué)、人體工學(xué)、人間工學(xué)或工效學(xué)(Ergonomics)。工效學(xué)Ergonomics原出希臘文“Ergo”，即“工作、勞動(dòng)”和“nomos”即“規律、效果”，也即探討人們勞動(dòng)、工作效果、效能的規律性。人體工程學(xué)是由6門(mén)分支學(xué)科組成，即：人體測量學(xué)、生物力學(xué)、勞動(dòng)生理學(xué)、環(huán)境生理學(xué)、工程心理學(xué)、時(shí)間與工作研究學(xué)。人體工程學(xué)誕生于第二次世界大戰之后。
