EOB代碼是什么意思?
EOB代碼指的是"End Of Block",在視頻編碼標準中常用來(lái)表示一塊(Block)的編碼結束,通常用于幀內壓縮。
在幀內壓縮中,視頻信號被分成許多塊,每一塊都經(jīng)過(guò)離散余弦變換(Discrete Cosine Transform, DCT)和量化(Quantization)處理后得到一個(gè)系數矩陣。為了進(jìn)一步壓縮數據,需要對系數矩陣進(jìn)行熵編碼,將大量的系數值壓縮成更少的比特數,EOB代碼就是在這一過(guò)程中被使用的。
在編碼過(guò)程中,由于量化后系數值分布不均勻,大部分系數值都接近于0,因此可以采用零值填充(Zero Padding)的方法,將連續的0系數合并成一段,然后用EOB代碼來(lái)表示這一段零系數的結束位置。比如在H.264標準中,EOB的二進(jìn)制表示為"0000 0001",表示當前塊的編碼已經(jīng)結束,并且后面所有的系數值都為0。
EOB代碼在視頻編碼中起到了非常重要的作用,它既可以減小數據量,又能夠提高**效率,因此被廣泛應用于各種視頻編碼標準中。
