分貝代表什么意思

對于聲音，“分貝”是這樣定義的：我們將某一個(gè)聲壓值定義為“標準值”（0分貝），這是一個(gè)固定的值；任何一個(gè)聲音，都和這個(gè)標準值相除，取結果的對數（以10為底），再乘以20，這樣算出來(lái)的就是這個(gè)聲音的分貝。

這里涉及到了一個(gè)作為“標準值”的聲音。當我們計算在氣體介質(zhì)中傳播的聲音時(shí)，采用的標準值是2×10 -5 Pa（20μPa），這是人耳能聽(tīng)到的最小的聲音，大致相當于3米外的一只蚊子在飛。這就是物理上對“0分貝”的定義。事實(shí)上，很多人聽(tīng)不到這樣弱的聲音。根據世界衛生組織的定義，如果一個(gè)人能聽(tīng)到的最小聲音在25分貝以下，就屬于正常聽(tīng)力。

另外，“分貝”并不僅僅用來(lái)描述聲音強弱，它還被運用在電子學(xué)等其它物理領(lǐng)域，比如用來(lái)描述信號的增益衰減、信噪比等等。用來(lái)表示聲音強弱時(shí)，“分貝”被寫(xiě)成dB(SPL)，其中dB是decibel（分貝）的縮寫(xiě)，SPL是Sound Pressure Level（聲壓位準）的縮寫(xiě)。除此以外，分貝還有別的形式。

通過(guò)上面對“分貝”的描述，我們會(huì )發(fā)現：

“分貝”并不反映聲音的絕對響度，它是以某一個(gè)聲音為基準，描述聲音響度的相對關(guān)系?？茖W(xué)一點(diǎn)說(shuō)，它把一個(gè)指數增長(cháng)的物理量轉換成了線(xiàn)性增長(cháng)的物理量，便于計算。

“0分貝”并不代表“沒(méi)有聲音”，它只是一般認為人類(lèi)能聽(tīng)到的最小聲音而已。完全有可能有比0分貝還弱的聲音（比如4米外的一只蚊子），那就是負分貝了
