Leo Sayer，男，出生于1948年5月，英國著(zhù)名創(chuàng )作歌手。于1974年出道。

1976年，當英國創(chuàng )作歌手李歐賽耶（Leo Sayer）信心滿(mǎn)滿(mǎn)的帶著(zhù)自己所譜寫(xiě)的十二首歌曲，前去拜訪(fǎng)著(zhù)名的制作人理察派瑞（Richard Perry），希望大師能夠出馬，擔任他新專(zhuān)輯制作人的時(shí)候，根本沒(méi)有想到派瑞竟然會(huì )告訴他，那些歌曲沒(méi)有任何一首能用的。對于以創(chuàng )作才華起家、曾經(jīng)幫資深搖滾巨星羅杰達爾屈（Roger Daltrey）譜寫(xiě)過(guò)不少歌曲的他來(lái)說(shuō)，這真的是相當無(wú)情的打擊。但是，所謂「塞翁失馬，焉知非?！?，派瑞另外幫他找的歌曲，卻讓他登上了歌唱事業(yè)的最高峰。
